How much does a dumpster rental cost?
Prices range from $260 - $695 depending on your specific location, the dumpster size, the rental duration, and the type of debris.
What is included in the upfront price?
Our standard rate generally covers the delivery, pickup, local disposal, and a specific weight allowance (tonnage) for your debris.
Are there any additional fees I should know about?
You may incur extra charges if the dumpster is kept past the agreed-upon rental period (daily/weekly rates apply), if you exceed the included weight limit, or if prohibited items are placed in the bin.
What size dumpster do I need?
Dumpsters are measured in cubic yards. A 10yard – 15yard bin works well for smaller projects, while 20yard to 40yard options are ideal for full-home renovations or major construction sites.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, every dumpster has an included tonnage limit based on its size. Exceeding this limit will result in an "overage fee" charged at a specific rate per additional ton.
How high can I fill the dumpster?
You can only fill the container level with the top rim (or underneath the designated fill line). Overfilled dumpsters are unsafe for our drivers to transport on the road and prohibited by DOT.
Where can the dumpster be placed?
We can place dumpsters on hard, flat surfaces like concrete, asphalt, or gravel. We cannot drive onto soft lawns or unpaved terrain to prevent property damage.
Do I need a permit?
Permits are generally only required if the dumpster is being placed on a public street, alley, or city right-of-way. Check with your local city hall or municipality for exact regulations.
What CANNOT go in the dumpster?
You cannot throw away hazardous or toxic materials. This includes but is not limited to: paints, oils, automotive fluids, fuel, adhesives, chemicals, asbestos, sealed barrels, tires, and batteries.
What happens if I throw away a prohibited item?
If a prohibited item is found during disposal, you may face contamination or penalty fees from the local landfill. You will also be responsible for any costs to remove and safely dispose of those items.
